• ½ medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 small zucchini squash, diced (about 2 and ½ cups)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Fresh ground pepper (to taste)


  • Lightly spray pan with cooking spray (2 seconds)
  • Cook diced onion and garlic until lightly browned
  • Place steamer in a medium pot with water just touching bottom of and bring to a boil. Once water is boiling, add squash and steam until squash is fork tender
  • Remove from steamer and drain water
  • Place squash back into pan and add onions and garlic
  • Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
