Pressure Cooker Shredded Chicken Breast

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 2 Tbsp favorite chicken seasoning (ex: Montreal chicken seasoning)
  • 1 1/2 cups low sodium chicken broth

Directions

  • Place raw chicken breast into your pressure cooker.
  • Sprinkle seasoning over chicken breasts.
  • Add chicken broth.
  • Place lid on pressure cooker and ensure the valve is set to “sealed.”
  • Cook on High pressure for 7-9 minutes for fresh chicken breasts or 9-11 minutes if using frozen chicken breast (depending on the thickness of the chicken breasts used).
  • After finished pressure cooking, allow to natural release for 10 minutes. Then, quick release any remaining pressure.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken breast is at least 165 degrees F.
  • Shred the chicken breast to use on salads, wraps, soups, or in our buffalo chicken dip!
