Venison Stew

Ingredients

  • 4 garlic cloves (smashed)
  • 3 tbsp onion powder
  • 4 tbsp cornstarch
  • 10 ounces diced venison
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 cups diced carrots
  • 1 can of corn
  • 5 diced potatoes
  • 1/2 diced red onion
  • 2 bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 3 tsp parsley
  • 2 tsp pepper

Directions

  • In a small bowl, combine smashed garlic, onion powder, and cornstarch.
  • In a heated skillet, add the venison and cornstarch mixture.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Watch the pan and sear all sides of the meat.
  • Add to preheated crockpot.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients to the crockpot.
  • Cook on high for 3 1/2 hours or low for 7 hours.
